CONGRATULATIONS ON THE SUCCESS OF THE HO CHI COMMUNIST YOUTH UNION CONFERENCE, CAU GIAY DISTRICT, TERM 2022-2027

“Aspiration - Unity - Pioneer - Creativity - Growth”is the slogan of the youth of Cau Giay District during the 6th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Conference, term 2022-2027. Hosted on 11th and 12th July, 2022 at the Cau Giay Center of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event witnessed the participation of 167 official delegates.

Attending both sessions of the conference, the delegation from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the gifted consisted of Ms Phan Hong Anh - Youth Union Secretary, together with Mr Nguyen Van Dinh - Youth Union Deputy Secretary, and 7 other excellent Youth Union members.

At the conference, Chu Hoa Bao Tram - Youth Union Deputy Secretary, term 2021 - 2022, was elected as the next Secretary. She then delivered her speech on the topic of “Fostering exceptional Union members and training Party members in the context of high schools”.

During the term 2017-2022, Cau Giay District has proved its excellence in the work of the Union by attaining the title “Capital’s excellent unit in the Youth Union work and the youth movement” for five consecutive years. It has also been the district’s tradition for many years to lead the chart of exemplary residential areas, and to achieve numerous noble titles from the Government, Central Youth Union, City People's Committee and Hanoi Youth Union

Another successful term for the school’s Youth Union for a plethora of projects, models, and work have been widely spread. Many students have stood out as exemplary, praise-deserving models, such as Nguyen Le Thao Anh (Class of Chemistry, 18-21) - Vietnam’s outstanding youths 2021; Tran Quang Vinh (Class of Physics, 18-21) - Hanoi’s outstanding youths 2021; Nguyen Manh Quan (Class of Physics, 18-21) - Hanoi’s outstanding youths 2020; together with Nguyen Van Tan and Dinh Tu Ngoc - Gold medalists, Asia-Pacific Online Mechatronic competition…

At the conference, the official delegates have elected 25 members for the Executive Committee of Cau Giay District Union; Ms Le Thi Thu Trang was re-elected as the Secretary for Cau Giay District Union during its sixth term. The conference also successfully selected five outstanding members to attend the 16th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the gifted was honoured to have Chu Hoa Bao Tram - Youth Union Deputy Secretary - as the youngest member in history elected as a member of the Executive Committee of Cau Giay District Union, and also as one of the five preeminent delegates to attend the aforementioned 16th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hanoi.
