ANNOUNCEMENT CEREMONY OF THE CITY TEAM FOR THE NATIONAL CONTEST 2019-2020

At 10:00 am on October 29th, 2019, at the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School’s Auditorium 700, the Announcement Ceremony of the City Team participating in the National Contest of the school year 2019-2020 took place in a solemn and inspiring atmosphere, along with high hopes for the Teams’ students.

After the difficult selection exam for the City Team, the outstanding students taking part in the National Contest were officially revealed. At the opening ceremony of the City Team participating in the National Contest, 184 excellent students from 12 Teams with their parents and teachers in charge of those Teams, the school board and executives from the Hanoi DOET (Department of Education and Training) had a very emotional meeting.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the students got to listen to the content of the program. The first is "Announcing the decision to establish the City Team to participate in the National Contest for the school year 2019-2020".

Shortly thereafter, the Teams were officially presented and took commemorative photos together with pride and determination to win. Here are some pictures of the Teams:

Following the ceremony, the students got to hear "Directing and assigning tasks to the Teams" speech from Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training. Giving helpful advice, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang has helped students understand their responsibilities and obligations as representatives of Hanoi participating in the National Contest 2019-2020.

On behalf of the school, Principal Le Thi Oanh of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted - Secretary of the Party Committee, gave a few words to the students in the Teams. Her words of encouragement have provided encouragements for students to have a successful exam.

Ending the ceremony, Ms. Duong Tu Anh, Vice Principal of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted introduced for students of the Teams about the facilities of  Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, where they will work and study during the Team fostering.

Hence, the Announcement Ceremony of the establishment of Hanoi City Team to participate in the National Contest for the school year 2019-2020 took place successfully.
