On January 18th, 2020, 6th and 7th graders in Hanoi Amsterdam High school for the Gifted had a memorable experience of Canh Ty 2020 spring festival. With the support from teachers, parents and ABA company, the students had the chance to experience traditional New Year customs and participate in many other interesting, helpful activities.
At 10:15 am on January 18, 2020, the gala combined with the fair named "Xuan Viet 2020: Warm and loving" organized by students in grades 8 and 9 took place in the expectation of every store. Hundreds of students, parents as well as teachers.
On January 21, 2020, at the 700-seat Hall, the year-end meeting has been carried out solemnly with the presence of former teachers and school faculty. This annual event has marked memorable milestones in the past year, toward a fresh new spring for this beloved school.
In the morning of 6/1/2019, teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High school for the Gifted had solemnly held the preliminary ceremony of 1st semester in delight with praiseworthy achievements throughout the past semester.
GreenAms 6520 Robotics Team is the first and only robotics club of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. With the hope to create an educational environment for students passionate about robotics, the club was and is slowly affirming its position through seasons of competing on the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)’s international ground. To best prepare for the tournament in March next year, GART 6520 has prepared a mock competition where club members can showcase their talents, as well as gain experience for the upcoming tournament at FIRST Robotics Competition 2020.
On December 21, 2019, Hanoi delegation of teachers and 183 excellent students of Hanoi capital participated in the National HSG Exam 2019-2020 solemnly held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh. K9 - Da Chong historical monument, Ba Vi district, Hanoi.
In the joyful atmosphere of Christmas, on the evening of December 24, at Cau Giay’s Cultural - Information and Sports Center, the ‘Youth Meetup Program - Cau Giay District’s Talented Youth Clubs Festival’ was held, as well as the Award Ceremony for the “3 Learning’s", "5 Good’s" campaign during the 2019-2020 school year. Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted entered 2 performances and brilliantly brought home 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, receiving high praises from the audience as well as the judges.
In IJSO 2019, the Vietnamese delegation from Hanoi Amsterdam High school for the Gifted has achieved tremendous success with 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals. On the occasion of the delegate’s return from Doha, Qatar, interviewers from Ams Wide Web had the opportunities to talk with them about the competition.
Ho Phi Dung is the youngest contestant in the Vietnamese delegation competing in the International Astronomical Olympiad. He loves playing LOL, playing the piano, practicing martial arts and going to the gym for a 6-pack body
In the last three years attending the IJSO International Young Science Olympiad from 2017-2019, the Hanoi delegation representing Vietnam has achieved countless brilliant achievements, including the huge contributions of the IJSO team of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. With endless effort and whole-hearted instructions from the teachers, students from the IJSO team of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted have achieved a great number of prizes, writing their names in the golden book of achievements of the school.
