Watch Ams Ambassador shine throughout NHAT

NHAT took place on September 10th to admire the glamour of every nominee and pick the best one worthy of the title “Ams Ambassador.” Such title was received by Vu Nguyet Ha – a student from the Literature major.

The final day of NHAT 2016 – CLARION, which was held at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School on September 10^th, united every student from all 12 majors.

NHAT is one of many annual collections of large-scale events at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School. During the final day, students from different majors participate in building tents and performing on stage in order for majors to compete with one another.

One special thing about NHAT is the search for Ams Ambassador. After the registration and the first round, on the final day of NHAT, 10 students from all majors compete for the most sought-after title. The nominees making it to the finale not only have many academic achievements, but also excel at extracurricular and social activities.

During the finale, nominees competed in the traditional costumes round as well as the ballroom costumes one. Three names of whom made it to the following round are Vu Nguyet Ha, Pham Ngoc Minh, and Nguyen Le Thuy Duong.

Receiving the question “Can you please share us your journey from the very first moment of preparation to the whole process of competing for the title of Ams Ambassador to prove that you are worthy of such title?,” Nguyet Ha stayed calm and earnestly answered:

“From the start of the competition in March 2016, I gathered every bit of confidence and relaxation to finish the interview round with the view to going further in this competition and helping my major – Literature get one step closer to the title of Most Wanted Class.

During the Talent round, I received lots of help from my friends who are in the same major. That was the first time I had ever had the chance to showcase my ability and passion. And today, being able to stand here, I feel overjoyed and proud. This is truly the “high note” of my high school years, for I am supported by all my friends and acquaintances.”

The final question for Nguyet Ha is “During the journey to this “high note” of yours, you can’t have avoided some “low” ones. Would you be kind enough to share those moments with us?.” Ha quickly answered: “One of many “low notes” is the experience I had during the Talent round. I and my partner had many difficulties; one of which is the final exams, allowing very little time for practice.

However, having the support of the Literature major as well as the English one, we succeeded in performing a truly masterpiece, which was flawed but impressive enough for us to remember it always.

The calmness, confident, and sincerity of Nguyet Ha along with impressive list of academic achivements and social activities have aided the Literature-major girl won the title of the night, allowing the Literature major to win the other biggest title: Most Wanted Class.

Other winners include: Physics major with “Best video,” Geography major with “Best Performance,” IT major with “Second Most Wanted Class,” and Le Nguyen Phuong Linh awarded with the title: “Ambassador of Academy”
