UNDER THE FLAG: AWARDING HIGH-ACHIEVING STUDENTS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022
After a long break from the pandemic, on April 18, the first official flag-raising ceremony for students of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted was held. Although it couldn’t take place as planned due to the unfavorable weather, the management board, teachers and all students were still filled with excitement and responded with great enthusiasm.
The ceremony began with a solemn flag-raising ceremony. With the participation of all students of the school, Vietnam’s national anthem was played. By singing in unison towards the national flag that was gradually being raised, everyone proved their unwavered spirits. The flame of patriotism still burned brightly despite the unfavourable weather.
Then, Ms. Tran Thuy Duong - the school's principal and teacher Bui Van Phuc - the school's vice principal presented prizes to the 10th graders who passed the valedictorian exam of each specialized block. The list of valedictorians of 10th grade in the academic year 2021-2022 includes:
