Pandorams 2023: Swingin' Open - The orientation program for 9th graders preparing for the transfer exam
On the previous 16th of December, the students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted had successfully organized Pandorams’ orientation event for the high school entrance exam. Having weathered 8 seasons of events, Pandorams has proven its appeal each year by attracting hundreds of students and parents in Hanoi city to participate in the summer camp. Coming to season 9, Pandorams officially greets us with the theme of Swingin’ Open, inspired by the movie “Hotel Transylvania”
Pandorams is a summer camp simulating noteworthy activities ranging from academic to extracurricular in Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, held annually for 9th grade students in Hanoi. Even after 8 years of operation, Pandorams has never once failed to impress not only middle school students but also parents on its journey to fulfill its mission.

The Pandorams of 2023 will take the role of Jonathan, the character who will open the main door to hotel Transylvania owned by count Dracula - along with the boys and girls fighting night and day on their relentless journey to enter the high school they have always dreamt of.

The key to the gates of Amsterdam not only depends on the relentless cultivation of knowledge; most important of all, it is the willingness to step forward, to bravely broaden your horizons in order to fly high. Because of which, throughout the four activities of Pan Talk, Pan Tour, Pan Fair and Pan Thoughts, Pandorams 2023 wishes to become the bridge that leads these students to the new, mystical open skies that might have seemed intimidating at first glance - the same way count Dracula’s outlook on humankind shifted under the assistance of an innocent and exuberant Jonathan.

Vu Ha Van - Head of the Event Organizing Committee, has her own thoughts to share: “After having experienced the transfer exam myself, I realized the importance of having substantial guidance and information about my dream school from the beginning, as it is crucial to provide a route suitable for my own needs. That is why I hope that Pandorams will provide a chance for the students to step closer to their targets and dreams, which will supply them the motivation to face the arduous exams ahead.”
With the mission of bringing students to the horizon of knowledge, Pandorams holds fast to the belief that after each activity, the 9th graders have somewhat discovered a specific path and direction towards the future of their own, therefore kindling a deeper affection towards the school of Hanoi - Amsterdam we call home.
