ALUMNI MEETING AND CEREMONY TO DONATE BOOKS TO THE SCHOOL LIBRARY
On the morning of October 5th at the Library of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, the School Board of Management collaborated with the Alumni Association (HAO) to organize the Alumni Meeting and the Ceremony to donate books to the school library.
The ceremony was attended by Ms. Tran Thuy Duong - Party Committee Secretary, School Principal, Mr. Nguyen Kim Han and Mr. Do Lenh Dien - Former School Principals, Ms. Duong Tu Anh - Vice Principal, Mr. Mai Thanh Ha - Representative of HAO, Writer Nguyen Truong Quy - Amser class 92-95, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Head of Parent Council, Ms. Vu Que Anh and Ms. Dao Van Hong - in charge of the library, and members of the students association and student representatives.
At the ceremony, the Alumni Association representative presented 500 new books to the school, with books in many fields ranging from literary works, life skills, to natural sciences.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Mai Thanh Ha - HAO representative and former Amser 92-95 - shared the reasons for the book donation, which were to support the school and students in promoting the reading culture. In reply to the noble sentiment, on behalf of the School Board, Ms. Duong Tu Anh - Vice Principal and Ms. Tran Thuy Duong - Principal of the school - sent deep regards and souvenirs to the Alumni Association.

Speaking at the book donation ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Kim Hoan - Former Principal of the school - who said that this is a timely, important and useful action since the book donation ceremony and reading culture development will help nurturing the studious spirit, the desire to explore, as well as forming, maintaining, and developing a reading culture, stimulating the excitement and ability to self-study and independent research in students. From there, the students can foster a love for reading and learning useful life skills, as well as nurturing dreams, and practicing good personal values.

Hopefully, with the companionship of the school, the family and the sponsorship of the Alumni Association, the 500 books awarded will become valuable documents to help Amsers acquire more knowledge and form good habits in order to become well-equipped on the road to achieving dreams.
