The ceremony was attended by comrade Phan Hong Anh-the Secretary of the Union, comrade Cao Van Dung-general curator of the Youth Organization, comrade Nguyen Van Dinh-vice secretary of the Union, comrade Nguyen Tien Dung-vice secretary of the Union and all the comrades of the executive board and the extended executive board together with outstanding students of the ninth grade.

With the hope of becoming young model-roles of the country, of contributing and of striving based on the ideas of great Uncle Ho, the students were excited and serious with the goal of becoming a Youth Communist member. At the beginning of the ceremony, Nguyen Hoang Dam Thuyen, on behalf of the ninth-grade students, had read the application form for the admission into the Union, affirming that the Ho Chi Minh Youth Communist UNion was a great environment for members to develop themselves and strive to learn and to cultivate righteous morals.

Next, comrade Nguyen Tien Dung-vice secretary of the Union made a speech on the resolution to admit new members into the Youth Union. Through the supervision of students’ work and considering the determined application forms of the students, 74 students were approved as eligible for joining the Youth Union, according to the resolution to admit outstanding students into the Union. 74 new Youth members had been given the Union’s books and the Union’s badges by comrade Nguyen Van Dinh-vice secretary of the Union and comrade Cao Van Dung-general curator.

With the excitement and pride of becoming a part of the Union, Nguyen Hong Anh , on behalf of the other students, had read the promises of the new members, promising to abide by the regulation, to strive to learn and work well, in order to deserve the title of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Communist Union’s members.

Lastly, member Pham Ngoc Gia Phong stood up to make a speech about how honored and proud of ninth-grade students felt to be admitted into the Union. He also expressed the wish to try one’s best to prepare for life, work and to not fall short of expectations of one’s own, one’s teachers and family.

We wish the new members will always follow the model of great Uncle Ho, strive to learn and cultivate righteous virtues in order to improve and complete oneself. We hope that the ninth-grade students are well prepared mentally and achieve the desired results in the upcoming transfer examination.
