The Phu Dong Sports Game’s city round is an annual activity with an aim to promote the spirit of sports training, develop the Taekwondo training and competition movement, and at the same time select athletes to join the team to prepare for the national Phu Dong Sports Game taking place in August 2021 in Nam Dinh.

This year's Hanoi Students Taekwondo Tournament took place from March 14th to March 21st, attracting 500 athletes from different middle schools and high schools in the city.

In an interview with a reporter from Ams Wide Web, Minh Anh excitedly said: "I'm very happy to have won the gold medal for 3 consecutive years in high school. Even though I'm in grade 12, I still try to balance between studying and practicing to achieve the best results."

Previously, also in the Phu Dong Sports Game’s city round for school year 2020-2021, in the table tennis contest, which lasted for 3 days from December 7th to December 10th, 2020, there was one student from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted who participated and achieved great results: Nguyen Dang Hoa Huyen - 12th grader in History class - Bronze medalist in the High School Women's Singles category.

Hoa Huyen used to be the Ams Ambassador in 2019; therefore, she shared that participating in extracurricular activities was quite familiar to her and the medal was a worthy prize for her efforts.

Their achievements have brought pride to Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. This result once again affirms the efforts of students in physical education activities and contributes to reaching the goal of improving the quality of comprehensive education.
