On the morning of 25/11/2017, the annual program "Amser doctor to take care of teachers” took place at Hanoi – Amsterdam Highschool for the Gifted. This is an opportunity for the former Amsers to express their gratitude to the teachers. The program has shown the spirit of "when drinking water, remember its source", and also the love of generations of Amsers for teachers as well as the school.
The 14th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) took place in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Viet Nam’s IJSO team has excellently got 3 Silver medals and 3 Bronze medals.
Another season of Ams Cup is here to heat up the anticipation and excitement of many Amsers. At 10:20 of November 22nd, 2017, Ams Arena’s atmosphere was liven up as the opening ceremony of Ams Cup 2017 took place.
Comenxki once affirmed: ‘Under the sun, perhaps there is no occupation more glorious than that of teaching.’ Because, teachers not only equip their students with a world of knowledge, but they also teach us how to become a good human being. They can be the ‘soulful bass notes’, and they can also be the sweet high notes, all contributing to the beautiful symphony of life. In honour of a day for celebrating teachers around Vietnam, let’s meet teacher Dang Nguyet Anh, Literature Specialised Amser of the school’s first class, and currently, and passionate teacher of Vietnamese Literature of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
With bright smile and youthful style, teacher Phuong Nam impressed me right from the first step into the class not only with her special name, Ms. Nam, but it also seemed that she brought a new breeze to the problematic and incomprehensible biology with funny jokes.
