Despite just entering 6th grade at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Dinh Linh Dan (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) has taken part in multiple volunteering events all over Hanoi.
Class 9A from the secondary school of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the gifted has 53 students who all passed the entrance exam to different specialized high schools in Hanoi this year.
Implementing the campaign “The phoenix blossom volunteers - energy for the exam season” of the Cau Giay District Youth Union in this year’s National High School Examination, the Youth Union of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the gifted received the service of 45 Youth Union members, assisted by 20 other volunteers from Banking Academy, throughout five different shifts. During their two stressful days swamped with examinations (7/7 - 8/7/2022), it was the volunteers’ dedicated and enthusiastic support that played a part in empowering the candidates to finish the papers to the best of their ability.
With a total score of 48.5, Vu Hoang Khanh Uyen, class 9B, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted officially became the valedictorian of the 2022 high school entrance exam in Hanoi.
Hoang Minh Hieu, a former secondary school student of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, is the only student in Hanoi to get 10 in Advanced Mathematics.
Following the directives and guides of Cầu Giấy Union detailing the organization of "Operation Red Phoenix - Exam assistance 2022", Hanoi - Amsterdam High School Union mobilized and called for all students at school to participate in the 2022 voluntary summer exam assistance activity. In the 6-day period of Hanoi's 10th grade entrance exam (17/6 - 20/6 & 29/6 - 30/6), over 120 students schoolwide have joined the operation, each of them assigned to one of the 12 shifts present at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School, ready to maintain strict order at the testing site as well as providing our examinees with necessary support in the scorching heat of summer.
On June 28, the Trade Union of Hanoi Education and Training held a conference to honor the outstanding Hanoi teacher families in 2022, as well as to commend the program "1 million initiatives - a creative effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic”.

On 4/6, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School’s Party has organized an initiation ceremony to the Party for the two outstanding Union members, namely Nguyễn Hải Đăng (12 Physics 2) and Nguyễn Đình Minh (12 I.T.). Comrade Trương Thị Mai, the politburo’s commissioner, Party secretary and head of the central committee attended it for a speech.
